Pistachio Cheese Ball

Two quick and easy recipe for delicious appetizers with cream cheese, figs, and pistachios

Ingredients
  

For the cheese ball

  • 300 g soft fresh cheese
  • 40 g Kelyfos Pistachio Paste with Lemon
  • 2 dates chopped in very small pieces
  • fresh herbs chopped finely
  • Kelyfos pistachio kernels

For the figs

  • Fresh figs washed or you could use dry fruit like apricots or dates
  • cheese ball mixture
  • honey

Instructions
 

For the ball

  • Place the cheese in a bowl and smash it up using a fork.
  • Add some of the pistachio paste and mix it in the cheese. Depending on the cheese and how dense it is you may need more or less of the paste.
  • Add the dates, herbs and pistachios and mix well.
  • Wearing gloves shape the mixture into a bowl, place in the fridge till you want to use it and serve with crackers.

For the figs

  • Score the figs down the middle but not separate the figinto two..
  • Put a spoonful of the mixture in the center.
