Pistachio Cheese Ball
Two quick and easy recipe for delicious appetizers with cream cheese, figs, and pistachios
Ingredients
For the cheese ball
- 300 g soft fresh cheese
- 40 g Kelyfos Pistachio Paste with Lemon
- 2 dates chopped in very small pieces
- fresh herbs chopped finely
- Kelyfos pistachio kernels
For the figs
- Fresh figs washed or you could use dry fruit like apricots or dates
- cheese ball mixture
- honey
Instructions
For the ball
- Place the cheese in a bowl and smash it up using a fork.
- Add some of the pistachio paste and mix it in the cheese. Depending on the cheese and how dense it is you may need more or less of the paste.
- Add the dates, herbs and pistachios and mix well.
- Wearing gloves shape the mixture into a bowl, place in the fridge till you want to use it and serve with crackers.
For the figs
- Score the figs down the middle but not separate the figinto two..
- Put a spoonful of the mixture in the center.
