Pistachio Cheese Ball
Two quick and easy recipe for delicious appetizers with cream cheese, figs, and pistachios
For the cheese ball
- 300 g soft fresh cheese
- 40 g Kelyfos Pistachio Paste with Lemon
- 2 dates chopped in very small pieces
- fresh herbs chopped finely
- Kelyfos pistachio kernels
For the figs
- Fresh figs washed or you could use dry fruit like apricots or dates
- cheese ball mixture
- honey
For the ball
Place the cheese in a bowl and smash it up using a fork.
Add some of the pistachio paste and mix it in the cheese. Depending on the cheese and how dense it is you may need more or less of the paste.
Add the dates, herbs and pistachios and mix well.
Wearing gloves shape the mixture into a bowl, place in the fridge till you want to use it and serve with crackers.
For the figs
Score the figs down the middle but not separate the figinto two..
Put a spoonful of the mixture in the center.
